THE WINGS OF KINDNESS
Ambadi Seva Kendram commenced on 7th December 2005, a non profitable voluntary organization functioning at Ernakulum district, North paravur Thaluk, Kottuvally Village on a rented building. Now the Seva Kendram owns 10 cents of land with a four storey building having 7400 sqft in total. The organization got registered statutory on 27th February 2008 under registration number ER 102/08. The organization is committed to the welfare of the society, eradication of poverty and offer education to poor to uproot illiteracy and uplift self esteem, irrespective of caste creed and religion. The organization got approved by Orphan Control Board on 16/10/2012. At present there is 22 children who are destitute and neglected by the society. The institution is only ment for boys Among the inmates three are studying for graduation and others on standard 10 and below.
Ambadi Seva Kendram along with nurturing these down trodden neglected pupils ; organize free medical camp with dispensing sufficient medicine on every second Sunday , promoting Bio – cultivation, conducts regular free yoga classes, free ambulance services , free computer class , Counselling etc. The Seva Kendram has 69 members registered as charitable societies of its 15 are full time action oriented.
On November 14th the children’s day we are decided to start a girl’s home at Chendamangalam panchayath where a philanthropist donated 68 cents of land with building.
Very recently on the day of Feb. 24th we started a PakalVeedu , an old day care home , where 10 inmates are occupying. our plan is to protect 30 old people, aged 60 and above. Connected to that project , we are constructing a three storey building with 1212 sqft each floor, where 6 cents of land donated by one of our trust members. Here, in connection to PakalVeedu activities as a part of women empowerment several activities are planning such as employment generating and money generating projects.
We would like to draw your kind attention on this matter. Total Project cost for this programme is 1212 sqft*3 floor* 1200 is Rs. 43, 63,200/-the basement work of first floor with putting work and column is already completed.
Along with these 3 projects 5 other projects are also under consideration One is an old age home where 10cents of land was recently donated by another well wisher other is a Psychosocial and De Addiction center , a unit for mentally challenged girls , a bio cultivation and indigenous cow farm and conservation project and a Pain And Palliative care unit.
Sirs by god’s grace and with the help of inumerous generous peoples’, without getting any government grant or aid the organization since last 12 years is going on smoothly.
